RareBreedAuctions.com is dedicated to preserving America’s rare and heritage breeds of poultry and livestock. We believe that the best way to save these breeds is to create a market for these animals where buyers and sellers can meet and bargain in a fair and professional environment facilitated by state-of-the-art technology. RareBreedAuctions.com is committed to providing that opportunity to you, the buyer or seller of rare breeds.

Other auction sites created by livestock experts have failed the test of time due to a lack of technical proficiency and poor customer service. At RareBreedAuctions.com, we specialize in raising livestock, but we also make our living in developing and maintaining customer relationships through online communication.

We are committed to building a strong and ethical community that allows members to sell and bid with confidence. We pledge to be responsive, helpful and friendly to our members and guests, and we encourage you to tell us about your experiences so that we can continuously improve our service.

We welcome you to our community and look forward to meeting your needs.

Description

6 Malaysian Serama hatching eggs. These are the world's smallest chickens. Our birds are NPIP certified. You will love our beautiful show quality birds. We pair our birds in order to produce the most desirable colors and sizes. This flock is comprised of birds from premeir breeders in 7 different states. Each bird in our flock meets breed specifications. All of our birds are class A or B. These birds love contact and attention. They are friendly and docile and make great family pets. Seramas are a beautiful and fun addition to any flock. I feed my birds only organic food with no antibiotics or other additives. My flock is very healthy and these eggs are fresh and extremely fertile. We will package each egg with care and ship priority 3 day mail the first business day after purchase. Shipments go out in the morning after egg collection. IF YOU WISH TO HAVE YOUR EGGS HELD FOR PICKUP AT YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD SPECIAL SHIPPING HANDLING FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $10.95 YOU MUST NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY AFTER WINNING AUCTION AND MAKING PAYMENT. If we do not receive special shipping directives from you in a timely manner your eggs will be mailed 3 day priority. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A HATCH RATE OF OUR EGGS due to conditions outside of our control including handling during delivery and your incubation practices. We recommend paying the extra fee for special handling but this is entirely up to the buyer. PLEASE NOTE: A COMMON RISK YOU ASSUME WITH SHIPPED EGGS IS AIR SACK DETACHMENT "Scrambled Eggs". This is caused during the shipping process from air pressure changes and vibrations and package handling by postal service. TO maximize the viability of your shipped eggs it is recommended to let eggs rest pointy end down in the cartons for 1-2 days prior to incubating. Then place eggs in the incubator still in the carton for another 4-5 days before begining to turn them. This allows to eggs to settle and may facilitate reattachment. We are always available to answer any questions about incubation or care and we do very much appreciate your business. FYI-USPS will not ship eggs to California residents with zip codes ranging between 90000-93000 due to an ongoing quarantine stemming from an outbreak of VND

RBA Member Code of Conduct

Updated: May 28, 2015
This website is a service intended to benefit our country's livestock and the people who raise it. In order for this community to thrive and achieve our mission, its necessary that all registered members adhere to a Code of Conduct that ensures fair trade. By registering as a member you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, and any violations of the Code of Conduct will result in being banned from this site and such other legal action as may be required. The Code of Conduct is as follows:

  1. A person may not create multiple accounts.
  2. A seller may not bid on his or her own auction and may not coordinate with family and friends to do so.
  3. A winning bid creates a legally binding contact, and winning bidders are required to pay the seller. If you have questions about an animal being auctioned the time to ask those questions is well before the close of the auction. Doubts, unanswered questions, second-guessing, an unanticipated or sudden change in personal circumstances, or buyer's remorse are not valid reasons for a winning bidder to refuse to pay after an auction closes.
  4. Read the text of the auction carefully before you bid. Once you bid your bid cannot be undone. Your bid is a legally binding offer to the seller, and if you are the high bidder your offer is automatically accepted and becomes a legally binding contract under which you are obligated to pay the seller.
  5. Sellers may not use other people's photos, breed descriptions, or trade names without their express written permission. Copyright violations are not allowed.
  6. Sellers must accurately describe the animal they are selling including the pedigree of the animal.
  7. When giving feedback a person must accurately describe the facts that support the feedback rating.
  8. In order to be valid, feedback must be posted by sellers within seven days after payment is due and for buyers within seven days after the birds or eggs are shipped.
  9. A person may not send profane or harassing messages about an auction.
  10. A seller advertising imported poultry must be prepared to provide a copy of the USDA import permit proving the legal importation of the poultry. Only legally imported poultry may be sold at auction.
  11. A seller or buyer may not use an auction or RBA-related tools to negotiate direct sales outside of an auction. This includes asking buyers to "gift" money via PayPal.
  12. A seller may not pre-sell hatching eggs or day-old chicks with a shipment date more than four weeks after the auction ends.
  13. This is a community. Be POLITE and courteous. If you are rude, you may be asked to leave.
  14. A seller will comply with all relevant government regulations including those related to the shipping of live birds and NPIP compliance.

Thank you for participating in our community. Happy selling and bidding! If you have questions, comments or concerns, please email the store manager.
